Ashlee’s Library

The list of books that mean a lot to me is simply too long to put … well, anywhere. But I’ve trimmed it down to some of the ones I consider classics, which I go back to over and over again. There are many genres here – not all fantasy! – and I hope you will consider reading some of them!

  1. I see many books I love on this list. Especially Wildwood dancing! It is amazing!! Can I make a recommendation? “The Little White Horse” by Elizabeth Goudge. It is magic!!

    1. I’ve read Elizabeth Goudge in the past, but never “The Little White Horse.” That one is getting read very soon now, though, I can tell you! Thanks so much for the recommendation!!

    2. I have since read The Little White Horse … such a wonderfully whimsical fairy tale! Loved it. I saw the movie on Netflix the other day and had to watch it, too! They changed things from the book, as they always do, but it was still good I thought 🙂

      1. Yes, I saw that movie too. But I had to think it was not from the book, because it was so different. I just adore that book, and the movie could not live up to it. But in itself the movie was good.
